Moontoast's SocialStore got an upgrade

The Moontoast SocialStore has been defining the social commerce space for nearly two years.  This is the product that is proving Facebook commerce delivers real results, and it¹s leading the charge in an industry that is in its infancy. This most commonly used Moontoast product reaches audiences where they spend their time online: social networks, blogs, and brand websites.

It¹s fitting, then, that Moontoast did some work under the hood to make it even better. Moontoast's SocialStore is now mobile friendly. When a consumer is browsing Facebook or Twitter from their mobile device and interacts with the SocialStore, they now experience a mobile-friendly cart and checkout flow that is HTML-based, displaying exactly the products which were in the native store.

Products are laid out in a grid, and simple taps navigate through product descriptions, additional images, and checkout. If a brand is offering checkout via PayPal or Checkout by Amazon, those payment methods work as well.

This upgrade is live, instant, and best of all, there¹s nothing consumers need to do to make it active. When Moontoast detects a mobile device viewing an offer, the app simply delivers the mobile version of the SocialStore.

Let me know if we can set up a demo, or if you would like to speak with Blair Heavy, Moontoast's CEO.

Stay tuned‹ this is just the beginning of the Moontoast Mobile experience.

The platform is cloud-based‹users can choose to make their journals public, share them with their friends, or keep them private.

Clibe has been in beta for about a year and is launching next week‹ the latest version is optimized for the New iPad HD (downloading is free at the App Store).

To date, there are about 70K people who have downloaded the app. Visere began the Clibe project as exploration on the future of computing and collaboration.

Consumers are creating journals as travel diaries, legacy writing, books to their children, letters to their lovers, etc.
